Description:
This game was made during my internship for the indie games capstone track as a part of the master's degree program. Lock & Reload helps to bring back some nostalgia from old arcade shooter games where the player is locked on a rail and has to use their ability to crouch and shoot to survive the levels and clear out the enemies. The players will have the chance to fight their way through multiple different settings and different enemy types as they work their way to the end of the game.
Research:
What I researched for this game was heavily based on engagement as this game restricts a lot of what the player can do. Due to the fact that players will only have the ability to crouch and shoot, I felt it was very important to research studies on engagement and methods of making games that are not that involved in feeling engaging to the player.
